John Jovaneli opened Lowcountry Euro in Charleston with a clear mission: bring dealership-level expertise for European vehicles to the Lowcountry without the dealership price tag or impersonal experience. What started as a dream rooted in a lifelong passion for European automobiles became a reality right here in the heart of Charleston, SC.

John’s love for fast cars goes way back to childhood. Counting tailpipes in parking lots was his hobby! Clemson University honed his business acumen (Go Tigers!), as he always dreamed of merging his passion for cars with his entrepreneurial spirit. From the thrilling world of performance and modification to managing a Mercedes-Benz service center, his journey led him through various automotive adventures. After managing Eurofed in Atlanta and a performance shop in Virginia, John returned to Charleston with his family. There, Lowcountry Euro transitioned from a dream to reality.
Outside the shop, John cherishes moments with his two sons, Patrick and Andrew. Their shared love for car shows and automotive YouTube videos hints at their budding enthusiasm for cars. John also relishes snow-skiing, water activities, and adrenaline-packed track days with his M2.
John and Matthew Jovaneli married in 2017, and Matthew now works in the veterinary field in Charleston. Their family grew in December 2023 when they adopted two brothers, Patrick and Andrew. Embracing the challenge of parenting, they’re learning and growing every day with support from their incredible families. It’s true what they say: it takes a village to raise children!
